Discussion:
- Discussion occurred about which pump companies they were work with and how staff are trained on them.
- Type 1 and Type 2 are both prescribed pumps.
- Dr. Lauren Golden, MD, NYU Langone, discussed Parachute's future integration with Epic and shared a process where she downloads recent cases for different pumps, redacts the patient information, and shares these screenshots to help the fellows with pattern recognition to them with this data.
- There was strong agreement among the group that this is an endeavor worth pursuing.
- De-identifying the data and formalizing a process would be necessary, but there is a strong desire to share something like this nationally.
