CCHMC – Dr. Hailee Delsart presented on their PDSAs and showed a chart improving pump initiation significantly.
CHoA – Dr. Cossen and Casey Rust presented on their process map and KDD getting kids on a pump and a BPA. Epic update going on, PDSA 2 was paused as a result. PDSA 3 – BPA
Johns Hopkins – Dr. Nestoras Mathioudakis presented on their BPA actions that were taken 3-months worth of utilization data. Those free text clinicians comments were very eye opening.
Mt Sinai Adult – Did not present but Dr. O’Malley sent items ahead of meeting
Northwestern – did not present, not in attendance.
NYU Mineola – Sheila Dennehy, RN, presented on their first and second PDSA cycles. Pump companies send in trainers for ESL patients. Currently in PDSA cycle #3 (10/1/2025).
Cohen Children’s – Dr. Siham Accacha presented on patients diagnosed between august 2024 and July 2025 and provided a process map for their pump start process.
