Publication Language Guide Updates:
- Crossen reviewed the suggested changes to the Language Guide.
- Additional changes were suggested, and this document is nearly ready to be disseminated. Additional input is needed from HEAL, the Publication Committee, and the Collaborative.
- Discussion occurred about Health Equity and defining patient populations.
- Tim will create a shared version of this document to get wider feedback from the Collaborative.
Annual Survey Proposal Updates:
- Wisconsin submitted two sets of questions, Health Care Transitions Work Group is also working on a couple of topics but the language of the questions needs work.
2025 Review of Manuscripts:
- Current manuscripts were review and Ori provided an update on the QI Success Stories.
Review and Discuss Publication Process:
- The Committee Reviewed the current publication process and offered some improvements. We will review these improvements at the next meeting.
- Suggestions included a permanent link to the Qualtrics survey in the Newsletter https://t1d.iad1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ba4t5jpizGFneDA
- Improve the co-author selection process and find a way to bring in more junior investigators and make the selectin process more standardized.
- Tim to draft a joint document SOP for looking at authors and reviewers to be reviewed at next meeting.
