Annual Survey Overview

• The group discussed possible questions that could be modified or added to the survey.

Suggestions:

• Questions on how providers and staff are communicating with patients who are non-English speaking.
• Possible questions on remote patient monitoring.
• Questions on telemedicine/telehealth.
• Adding questions that focus on hospital vs. clinic.

 

ADEPT Summit

• The group highlighted the lack of T2D pediatric speakers for the upcoming ADEPT Summit.
• Speakers will share best practices and possible solutions to addressing equity for patients.

Recommended sessions/panels:

• The group discussed possibly moving the fireside chat to the same time slot as the advocacy panel.

Health Equity Best Practice Advisory Project

• Dr. Mathioudakis and Dr. Wolf shared a high-level overview of the BPA project.
• 3-year project across 6 centers.
