- DGC Chair Term ends in June 2026.
- Thank you Drs. Hansen and Davis for your leadership and facilitation for the last two years!

- Overview of new projects with funding opportunities
- Screening project (T1D)
- Incorporating Stage 3 teplizumab treatment into workflow when it goes live (anticipated in 2026) Will be funded proposal to Sanofi
- Related data elements will be incorporated into data spec in 2026
- Qualitative discussions: referring newly diagnosed PwT1D into DMT. Will be a funded proposal submitted to Breakthrough
- Focused groups discussing challenges/opportunities for sharing DMT trials with newly diagnosed PWD and their families
- Interest in team participation
- Also interest in having researchers from DMT trials, from other parts of hospital, be invited to these discussions
- Survey questions (15 min) on same topic planned
- Focused groups discussing challenges/opportunities for sharing DMT trials with newly diagnosed PWD and their families
- AID use and older adults- project to be submitted to ADA
- Being submitted in partnership with Joslin Center in Boston
- OHSU and Stanford Adults are two centers from T1DX-QI that will participate
- Fantasia, from BMC, will be an implementation science advisor on the project.
- Data opportunities: this could be a change for us to do population health analysis on people ages 65 and older.
- Discussion of plans for inviting new proposals for topics for the 2026 Annual Survey. Please share ideas/interest at QI@t1dexchange.org Dan mentioned interest in including/exploring the topic of DKA and DKA treatments- with the understanding that there is a lot of variation between centers on these recommendation now.
