Discussion and Questions

Center Sharing: Type 2 Diabetes camp in the Bay Area.

• Shylaja Srinivasan, MD provided an overview of their youth T2D camp and discussed its growth and some challenges over the past few years.
• Highlights included local partnerships, free admission for entire families, transportation assistance, and now ADA sponsorship for the first ever weekend-long T2D Diabetes Camp.
• Dr. Srinivasan wanted to share the below link with the group due to the overwhelming response to the video which was shared:

Data Mapping:

• Tim reviewed which sites were mapped vs. those which were providing data via smartsheet (unmapped) and provided status updates.
• A plan to group together (~3) unmapped centers in a separate meeting to discuss barriers and best practices to getting T2D mapped.
• Discussion occurred about data mapping.
