Lydia kicked off the meeting with an ice breaker where we shared a word to describe our plans for making us better people in 2026 and introduced our presenters.

Center Sharing:

Jerusha Owusu-Barnie (SUNY Upstate Pediatrics and Adults) presented on “Screening for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) in Diabetes Using the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)”

Timothy Bol (T1D Exchange QI) presented on the IMPROVAID Group’s use of QI Tools, specifically using an Effort/Matrix Impact Tool to collectively select interventions.

Tim to reach out to centers to create a schedule of presenters for the three remaining meetings of the year and to also get a slide or two about each center, as we had discussed in the meeting. In this slide you should:

• Introduce your Center (geography covered, patient population, staff numbers)
• QI Projects (active and in planning phases)
• Goals for 2026 and beyond
