Presentations:

Stanford Adult: Arati Nagarkar was introduced as the new QI coordinator replacing Kaveri. Arati and Marin Basina, MD presented on their latest PDSA. “Diabetes Education Tool” flowsheet in Epic.

Stanford Pediatric: Mindy Lee, MD presented her center’s work on “Reducing Inertia to Initiation of Automated Insulin Delivery Systems.” Discussion occurred about their use of smartforms. Dr. Accacha said NYU uses NYUdotT1D, and may be able to share their code.

UC Davis Adult: did not present

UC Davis Pediatric: Carrie Schulmeister, MD presented on her center’s lates PDSAs.

Washinton University: did not present

Wisconsin: did not present

Nicole reminded the group about varied instructions from different AID manufacturers and asked if this was a struggle for others and if there would be a benefit to getting together?
