Welcome and Introductions:
- Lydia Holly welcomed the group, reviewed the agenda for the day, and started off the meeting with an ice breaker where we took turns talking about something we already enjoyed or are looking forward to this summer.
- Claire Rainey was introduced as a new member of the T1DX-QI Team.
Presentations:
- Candice Williams and Stephanie Ogburn presented Cook Children’s Diabetes Device Equity and Optimization.
- Partnered with the Health Equity Expansion Group at T1D Exchange.
- Discussion occurred about how to manage the success and the struggles that come with growing a program as well as the benefits and downsides of online courses.
- Jenny Pfieffer started her center’s presentation on The Importance of Transition Programs for Young Adults with Diabetes, but due to time constraints will present at the next meeting.
