Diabetes Distress Meeting Minutes, 1/24/2025
Review of 2024 Annual Survey data results, showing low rates of DDS screening across the Collaborative. Primary screeners used are the PAID (peds) and T1-DDAS, 30 (adults)
Next steps:
Group decided that it is meaningful data for us to share. Plans:
- Submit late breaking abstract for ADA (Deadline is March 10, 2025)
- Make a manuscript writing group on this same topic
- Bottom line: the data shows that there are many care caps in screening for Diabetes Distress. This is a story we can tell for advocacy for change/call to action.
