Updates:

• The group discussed creating a list of clinicians/providers/educators who can be contacted to help/discuss cases.

• Have clinics submit questions to our group for answer

• The group wants to develop a list of best practices for each pump and specific age division (pediatrics and geriatrics will likely need multiple subsets).

• Determined which state Medicaid do not cover all pumps

• Draft position statements from our group regarding pump coverage for all types for all patients.

Next Steps:

• The group would like to share a shorter version of the survey during the learning session. Share QR code with attendees. Information from survey will help find those who can help/discuss HCL cases or best practices.
• Participants will continue to share insurance letters with Trevon.
• Standardize a process for sharing best practices.
• Next meeting: Friday October 18^th, 2024, 2pm to 3pm.
