Updates:

• Dr. Levy and Emily shared working group updates.
• The group review individual examples of appeal letters and good letters of medical necessity from other centers
• The group discussed current processes for prescribing pumps. When faced with insurance or Medicaid barriers.
• The group discussed possibly implementing pre and post surveys to help determine the effectiveness of the approval letters.
• The group wants to revisit the survey and possibly make it shorter for providers and maximize responses.
• The group wants to track our results to see speed of prior authorization reduction and identify any type of provider burden.
