Updates:

• Dr. Levy and Emily shared working group updates. Shared key highlights from the provider survey and the working groups AIM statement.
• Emily proposed dividing into a subgroup and meeting outside of the larger working group call. To help maximize progress.
• The subgroup would have the opportunity to develop prior authorization templates.
• The group wants to track our results to see speed of prior authorization reduction and identify any type of provider burden.
• Create sharable documents that have different categories for Pediatrics and Adults. Also include pregnancy and type 2.

Next Steps:

• The group will share their individual examples of appeal letters and good letters of medical necessity.
• The group agreed to have meetings on the third Friday of each month.
• The next meeting is July 19th, 2024.
