HEAL 2024 Co-Chair Nominations

  • Benefits of being a co-chair for the HEAL Advisory Committee:
  • Seat at the table; contribute as a subject matter expert.
  • Leadership on a national committee
  • Co-lead with peers to advance health equity.
  • Co-chair nomination call for next term June 2024- May 2026
  • Each participant within the group will nominate a peer to be co-chair.

  4. Private Insurance barriers in partnership with Georgetown University.
  5. Public Insurance barriers in partnership with Center for Healthcare Strategies.
  6. Dissemination of EMR Decision support systems to advance health equity.

Health Equity Best Practice Advisory Project

  • 3-year project across 6 centers.
  • The project will be funded by the Helmsley Charitable Trust and JDRF.
  • Sites have shared age, gender, race/ethnicity, and insurance data based on patient population.
  • The group used a miro board tool during the call to add ideas for HEAL 2024 Work.
