Weill Cornell Medicine – Increasing HCLS users
- Test ideas:
- Targeting high risk patients on MDI
- Omnipod upgrades
- Updated pump policy
- Increased HCL users to 80% of the patient population and improved A1c from 8.1 to 7.1 and improved TIR!
University of California San Francisco – Reduce inequities in A1c outcomes between publicly and privately insured patients through ‘techquity’ intervention
- Test ideas:
- Builds on work from 2022
- Distribute CGM starter kits, specifically to publicly insured patients
- Standardizing CGM initiation
- Initial results show an initial decrease in the gap between publicly and privately insured patients! Will focus on access to care for high-risk patients and screening for SDOH
