• Introductions
• Review data spec upgrade for 2023/ take suggestions from the group
• Discuss making any final modifications to 2023 data spec

2023 Data Specification Updates:

• Added non-binary and other for gender
• Added multiracial status options
  • Options on T1D Exchange end, race 1 and race 2 options
  • Report raw values (Dr. Lee)
  • What is the common denominator to report (Dr. Clements)
• Education level: split patient and parent
  • Most can report but not in a trackable way
  • Will evaluate how some sites are decide before rolling out
• Family history of Diabetes
  • Specify to type 1 and type 2 (split)
  • If there is no code for a specific measure to track, can we submit (Dr. Clements)
• Transportation and Housing (include after discussion on best formation on data field)
  • If the result concept is the same should not be a problem (Dr. Clements)
  • Can we ask in a domain instead of the specific questions (Dr. Jones)
• Disease
  • Documented transition plan
  • Insulin pen coding
  • Labs: C-peptide
    • Anion GAP: date of encounter to capture DKA events
